Karan Sujan

Karan Sujan

CEO, North Division

Karan Sujan, CEO of Mega Rubber Technologies (MRT), North Division, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida, USA. After completing internships at L&T and other auto ancillaries, Karan joined Polyrub Extrusions, a group company, in 2010. After successfully implementing a robust SCM mechanism at Polyrub, Karan assumed full responsibility at MRT, North division in 2014, overseeing day-to-day operations, strategy and driving growth initiatives. Under his stewardship, MRT has expanded and diversified into various sectors, including automotive 2W,3W,4W-Tier1s and Railways Tier 1s. Taking a leap forward and gaining experience of working with Japanese, American and European OEMs, Karan expanded the business creating a new state of art manufacturing facility at Bawal, Haryana specializing in rubber- to-metal parts. With his strategic vision and hands-on approach, he is successfully managing three plants at Manesar, Khuskera and Bawal optimizing production and ensuring quality standards. Leveraging both his engineering expertise and market insights, Karan has forged strategic partnerships and secured contracts with leading brands in various industry verticals. His ability to identify emerging trends and capitalize on growth opportunities has helped drive MRT’s success. Having laid the platform for rapid growth, as CEO, Karan is committed to furthering the company’s growth trajectory and strengthening its position as a leader in rubber products manufacturing.

 

Sharan Sujan

Sharan Sujan

CEO, West Division

Sharan Sujan joined the group in 2013 and has worked in various departments within the company to gain in-depth knowledge of the rubber business in the automotive domain before taking up responsibilities as CEO. Sharan is passionate about emerging technologies centered around innovation and sustainability. After researching the market landscape, and gaining valuable insights, he spearheaded the development and launch of a new product line, helping to position it effectively and to capitalize on market growth opportunities. Sharan has also been instrumental in establishing new plant at Pune for Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and introducing oil seals at Mega Rubber in 2023. Earlier in 2017, he witnessed the JV with Hefa Sciences for introducing canister, WSV, RoSV, etc. product lines located in Khushkhera (Rajasthan). He remains committed to creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement at Mega Rubber in order to meet the expectations of both customers and stakeholders. Sharan has a degree in Business Administration from Kingston University, UK and is an active member of the Youth Business Leadership Forum of ACMA.

Ajay Gupta

Ajay Gupta

Executive Director - Engineering & New Technologies

Ajay Gupta is Executive Director, Technical for JNV Ventures Group, and a Graduate Mechanical Engineer from University of Poona. He is an automotive components and systems development professional with experience of over 25 years in R&D function with Hero Moto Corp., a leading two- wheeler manufacturer in India. At Hero Moto Corp., Ajay worked extensively in Product Design and Development, CKD indigenization, New Model development, Cost Improvement Programs and Project Management. During this stint with Hero Moto Corp., he acquired domain knowledge of both Indian and overseas auto parts sources, their technologies and manufacturing processes, quality parameters alongside experience in homologation, testing and CMVR regulatory compliance management. One of Ajay’s major contributions was the development of a system for evaporative emission compliance for two-wheelers, for which he holds a patent in his name. Ajay now handles JNV Ventures’ initiatives for new technology acquisition and for enhancing engineering and development capabilities. He also heads Mega Hefa Emission Technologies Pvt. Ltd which operates in the designing and manufacturing of carbon canisters for automotive industry and solenoid valves for the automotive as well as the white goods sector in India.

 

Nitin Supe

Nitin Supe

Vice President, Business Development (West Division)

Nitin Supe is Vice President, Business Development. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering and 17 years of experience at Mega Rubber Technologies. Nitin has taken several key initiatives in diverse areas such as Operations, Purchase, New Product Development and Business Development. Nitin has worked earlier with the Varroc Group as well as the Vir Group in senior management roles. He has a total work experience of nearly 40 years. 

Dhandapani Krishnan

Dhandapani Krishnan

Vice President, Operations and Business Development (West Division)

Dhandapani Krishnan is Vice President, Operations and Business Development. He has a B. Tech in Mechanical, a Master’s in Technology (polymer) and an MBA in marketing. He has been with the company for close to 6 years. Krishnan has worked with several automotive component players including Sundaram Industries, Varroc Elastomers, Suja Shoei Industries and Mansons International. He brings to his role over 30 years of valuable and in-depth experience. 

Mukesh Sharma

Mukesh Sharma

Assistant Vice President, Operations (North Division)

Mukesh Sharma is an Assistant Vice President, and heads operations. He has worked with Mega Rubber Technologies for 15 years, and brings over 24 years of in-depth industry experience to his role at the company. Mukesh has focused on Improvements in Productivity and Cost Savings. He has also worked with WocoTech Elastomers. 

Pitambar Jagtap

Pitambar Jagtap

General Manager, Operations (West Division)

Pitambar Nana Jagtap is General Manager and heads Operations. He has been with Mega Rubber for 10 years having worked previously with Innova Rubber and the Varroc Group. His role includes Lean Implementation and Resource utilisation. Pitambar brings close to 30 years on experience to his role. 

 

Nilesh Dahad

Nilesh Dahad

General Manager, Business Development

Nilesh Dahad has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad and was earlier with Varroc Engineering. Nilesh has additional qualifications in Foreign Trade having earned a diploma in 2006. He has a total of 28 years of experience. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and yoga.

Sameer Phatak

Sameer Phatak

General Manager, Finance

Sameer Phatak has first degree in commerce, he qualified as a CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, as well as a Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Sameer has worked in various capacities in a 28-year career which includes being an independent tax consultant for a power-producing company, at IVP as CFO and Lord India as Head, Finance and Accounts. In his career he has wide ranging knowledge of the corporate finance function and has managed Indian tax compliances and submissions covering corporate tax, GST and withholding taxes including tax returns, internal reporting and tax accounting. Sameer has also established appropriate business practices, enhanced controls for credit risks, and built staff/supplier morale at a time of financial distress. He is an achievement-oriented professional with excellent people management and analytical skills.

 

Swapnil Inamdar

Swapnil Inamdar

Assistant General Manager - Head Human Resources

Swapnil Inamdar has a Master’s in HR from the University of Wales, London. His first degree was a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. Swapnil has experience in handling and managing Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Centre of Excellence, Capability building, Organizational Development, Culture building and Change Management through various OD interventions. His comprehensive experience includes experience in developing and implementing Strategic HR projects that include revamping Performance Management System (PMS), Employee Value Proposition (EVP), Succession Planning, Competency Mapping and mapping Career Paths for employees. Swapnil brings 18 years of experience to his job having worked previously with Shapoorji Pallonji, a diversified business conglomerate.
